Nestled in 20 scenic acres Pumpkin Hill Bistro sits atop its namesake. You will find us as you leave the quaint village of Aurora and start ascending Pumpkin Hill. Local folklore insists this was so named due to an incident involving a farmer transporting pumpkins on his cart. It seems he had the misfortune of losing a wheel thus causing him to lose his entire load. While away trying to replace his wheel, the villagers helped themselves to the fallen bounty.

The farm house that you dine in, also known as "The Sellen House," was built in the 1820's, just a few mile south in the Town of Genoa. Abandoned and neglected for decades, it was dismantled, moved and reassembled on its present site in 2001. Take time when visit us to look around and observe the details of this fine hand-built country house.
